Whatever the outcome of my review below, I don’t think men should subscribe to a dating app to meet a woman. I think that dating apps are not good to find a woman. Nevertheless, I gave match.com a try.
Profiles:
It seems that match.com forces new users to upload a picture and additionally, there aren’t any fake pictures of models or landscapes on women’s profiles. Not a bad thing. When I browsed the list of members, I was pleasantly surprised to see there were no faceless profiles. Also, match.com forces requires members to complete basic information in their profiles. This selects people who are really serious about meeting someone online.
The search tool:
match.com also has an embedded search tool that is very powerful because you can filter women by physical attributes, occupation and lifestyle choices. As compared to other websites like plentyoffish.com (POF), it is much more interesting because many women spent the time to fill out their online profile form. I don’t know any other online dating websites where there is so much information about a particular member.
